Visiting Our Website

Our website is hosted by Squarespace, Inc., 225 Varick Street, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10014, USA. We have a data processing agreement with this company. To access the website, your browser may transmit personal data (such as your IP address) to Squarespace. Your personal data is processed for the purpose of maintaining the functionality of the servers. We do not use any cookies on our website.

Feedback, Bug, and Crash Reports

When playing our games, you may choose to report a bug and/or send us feedback via email or contact form. We will collect the data you voluntarily provide, such as a save file, screenshot, and text description. This helps us improve our games and address issues.

If a game or related software generates automatic crash reports, consent will be requested and must be agreed to prior to sending a report.

GDPR Legal Basis: Feedback, bug, and crash reports are voluntary and consented to by the data subject (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You may request the deletion of your personal data from our records by emailing growlery@growlerygames.com.


Newsletter

We send emails roughly once a month to provide updates on our recent games and studio news.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we add your email address to our mailing list. We track link clicks and email bounce events to improve our newsletter and to remove inactive subscribers.

GDPR Legal Basis: Subscribers to our newsletter must consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), and processed data is a legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ button, typically found at the bottom of our emails.

With whom do we share the data?

We use MailChimp as our newsletter provider. Our service providers may store and process the data we collect from you on servers outside of the EU/EEA. We make sure to work only with partners who are GDPR-compliant, and we will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

We will not use your information for any third-party marketing purposes.

We may share anonymized game and newsletter statistics with other game developers for educational purposes.

Children

We do not and will not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we possess the personal data of an individual under 13 years old, we will erase such data from our records. If the individual is subscribed to the newsletter, it will result in a suspension of the subscription.
